Rearview Mirror Removal Tool 
 The rearview mirror removal tool is designed to detach rear view mirrors that are held in place with a spring clip. The tool has to be placed under the bottom edge of the rear view mirror. The tool will then attach itself to the windshield bracket. By pushing the tool toward the windshield, the mirror will be detached from the windshield bracket. 

Ford Rearview Mirror Removal Tool

Some rearview mirrors are relatively easy to remove, while others can take much more time. Some of Ford's vehicles feature a rear view mirror that has a 2 prong system, which is different from other manufacturers. But not everything is lost. With the Ford Rear view mirror removal tool, it is possible to easily remove the rear view mirror by sliding the 2 prong tool into the bracket and removing it with gentle pressure. Yes it is that easy!
