Equalizer Z Blades

These blades are flexible and retain their sharpness with a higher angle grind for less resistance during the cutting process.  Equalizer® produces two types of cold knife blades. Both the standard and the coined blades.  Made in the USA.

Coined or Standard Blades

If you use a cold knife blade right-out-of-the-box and never grind it thinner, then use the standard thickness Z1, Z2, Z3, Z7 or Z9. If you like to take a new blade and grind it thinner before you use it, then you should purchase Z4, Z5, Z6 or Z8.

Cold Knife, Bolt, and Spacer Assembly

After extended use, the bolt and spacer used on cold knives will wear out. The bolt and nut are made of stainless steel and the spacer is made of nylon.
